Description

Lots of pantyhose/tights and spandex clad women in this TV series. Check out Julie Newmar's Catwoman outfit in the first two seasons as well as Yvonne Craig's Batgirl outfit in season 3.

"Death In Slow Motion", the first of a 2-parter from 6'54" to 17'19". Sherry Jackson appears to be wearing a very short wild brown-reddish minidress with flesh colored tights (Sherry herself confirmed this on her fan page a couple years ago.) Sherry said she designed that costume and she was afraid to go barelegged while wearing a dress that short because of the Hollywood weather was rather cold when the scene was filmed.

Season 2, Episode 9

Blond in blue jeans short shorts, seems to be suntan pantyhose with closer looks, at 1’06"+…at 7’37”+, closer look; 14’21” again. Later, Robin observes: “Her legs sort of reminded me of Catwoman’s,” to which Batman responds, “You’re growing up, Robin. The lovely Julie Newmar, who reportedly insured her legs for $1 million back in the 1970s, returns as Catwoman, complete with her wonderful black catsuit.

Jean Hale in the second part with the Mad Hatter, who opens a pair of double doors at 1’58”, same outfit as before, full view; at 2’42”, a nice twirl around, then turns corner to pause in a hallway. At 6‘14”, she’s seen at the hideout, the best views initially; at 13’27” appears in darkened room; milder views at 16’11”, from the knees up as she points out the water tower to the caped crusaders, even better when she leads them outside; at 18‘05”+, she’s seen walking outside towards a water tower, first from way above, then straight on and much better…they climb the ladder, too bad she didn’t, we only see her watching from below!

You can't help but notice the difference between my favorite Catwoman, Julie Newmar (5 feet, 11 inches, or 180.34 cm, plus high heels, inventor of "Nudemar" pantyhose), accompanied in many of her scenes by "Pussycat" (Lesley Gore, yes, singer of "It's My Party" and 5 feet, 2 inches, or 157.48 cm, wearing pink low heel boots), the latter wearing a pink micro, thick pink tights. See 5'21", 8'11" (LG does a song for Catwoman's henchmen) - a several minute long scene, more sightings at 17'33", 18'51", 22'00", 23'19".

Season 2, Episode 41

Julie Newmar as Catwoman with Lesley Gore as "Pussycat" (same outfit as S2E40) in the second part, in opening. LG sings for us again at 6'45", starting out seated, shows more when she rotates her legs to be up on the bench chair, soon walks over - providing a back view - to go up some stairs to sit up on a traditional chair, crossing her legs. At 20'00", a lot of nice outside views of JN as she runs as if on a tightrope, testing her real-life ballet skills as she dances across the roof, first from below as an interesting, but long shot, then running across a roof towards the camera, then up a ladder, and across a roof away from us and up another ladder.

At 2'08", Phyllis Douglas from S2E47, no doubt this time, at 6'50" with an orange micro-mini, orange tights; at 8'58" a quick pan up and zoom out; and finally, after she says, "It might have been fun," at 22'21", Batman shows how strong he is by lifting her over the partial wall, her back facing us, and in a micro-mini, you know what that means!

Season 2, Episode 59

At 12'45", beauty in mostly-fuchsia showgirl outfit, suntan hosiery. At 13'26", she's joined by another beauty in a yellow-gold one-piece, suntan hosiery. The former eventually stands up, at 15'11" the duo is readying for a show when another in the yellow-gold one-piece, suntan hosiery joins them.

Season 3, Episode 1

At 2'46", Yvonne Craig squirming as the Penguin pulls her up through the escape door at the top of an elevator, camera down below a bit, which gives us a view of her nice suntan pantyhosed gams, remarkably close to crotch view. At 5'23", YC is tied up in a chair.

At 13'29", a quintet of women in short skirts enters, then exits the room, three are in pantyhose: the one in the plaid (navy) and apparently the one wearing the red jumper (suntan) and the one in a fuchsia micro-mini (suntan)...17'42 for partial of the quintet on the bed.

Season 3, Episode 12

The second of the young women from the previous episode has her hosiery wearing become obvious during the scene where they re-appear in this episode (9'41"), when they rush the Boy Wonder and pin him against the Batmobile, her hemline rising to reveal great sampling of her control top, some more of the two hosed ones as they haul him away! At 18'34", the quintet is seen again.

At 8'48", fashion show with a fair number of women wearing hosiery in the room, along with some of the models, who are seen later in their dressing room (not undressed!).
