Unfortunately, most of the women in this series conform to “the bare look,” including older stars Vanessa Williams with a couple of exceptions and, by the fourth season, Judith Light, and when there is a view of hosiery, it tends to be in the background. Star America Ferrera wears pantyhose or tights for the first two seasons, then transitions in season three, as does Becki Newton, who portrays a receptionist/administrative assistant, and Ana Ortiz, who portrays Betty’s sister, who sometimes wore hosiery in the early seasons. Perhaps not coincidentally, the series ended after four seasons. Here is a sampling of some of the sightings in this series, which wasn’t engaging to this viewer. There are some interesting guest stars from other series.

Season 1, Episode 1

At 25’26”, backstage where there are some short outfits and some fishnets, such as the woman in the black leather outfit (white), the partial of the orange outfit, and the black woman with the orange wig in the background (this one could be black pantyhose) after America Ferrera is pointed to. Even America Ferrera gets into the act, donning some black fishnets, thick at this point in the series.

Season 1, Episode 2

At 3’24”, black mid-thigh, black fishnet pantyhose on right half of screen. At 3’32”, partial of a woman walking in a micro, black hosiery.

Season 1, Episode 4

At 5’58”, black fishnet pantyhose, legs crossed.

Season 1, Episode 8

Quick on the pause button, for at 0’39” a black mid-thigh, black pantyhose.

Season 1, Episode 9

Quick on the pause button, yes again, this time at 0’37”+, for there is at least a a blond in a micro and black pantyhose that scurries by, front and back view. At 41’30”, from the left, a blond in black pantyhose for a moment, then pause right after the coat rack goes by to see a mid-thigh with black tights passing AF

Season 1, Episode 14

AF, lying down, arises, us getting a little black pantyhosed thigh en route.

Season 1, Episode 17

At 3’27”, an over her left shoulder look at the lower black pantyhosed right thigh of Judith Light, reminding us of how good she looked when she wore hosiery regularly in her 1980s series, “Who’s the Boss,” and she keeps it on for the remainder of this episode, though mostly around the knees (33’19” for a few inches above, 38’38” in a spotlight).

Season 1, Episode 19

Check out, at 2’38”, Vanessa Williams…she is wearing hosiery, nice thighs! (if so, it may be the only sighting in this series). At 5’10”, a glimpse of a brown mid-thigh, black pantyhose, left to right across the screen. Star AF has hemlines at the knees this season, but at 5’59”, an little extra black pantyhosed leg from AF as she leans over, also at 12’02” (lower panel), at 12’10”+, and 34’59”+ as she walks partway down some stairs, sits, and takes off her heels.

Season 1, Episode 20

At 31’51”+, AF whips her left black pantyhosed leg up deliberately to cross it, mimicking her bare counterpart opposite her, who just did similarly Soon, she’s seen sitting straight again.

Season 2, Episode 4

As the camera pans across a lecture hall audience, at 0’36”, a nice pair of black pantyhosed legs are captured; the guy next to had a challenge paying attention: on the class, that is.

Season 2, Episode 5

Quick to pause, at 16’20” a woman in a black mid-thigh, black pantyhose behind the country, side view.

Season 2, Episode 6

At 3’41”, off on the right appease a woman in a black micro-mini, black pantyhose, black calf boots; several seconds later, a couple of other glimpses. At 11’05”, a woman at the counter in a gray micro-mini, black pantyhose, and calf boots with high heels swings around to take a small dog from a man, who shortly thereafter throws a different heel down the hallway, the dog gives chase, and she runs after it…use single frames to see this arse-hugging dress lifting up…amongst the best view of this series.

Season 2, Episode 8

Mild view, but JL is wearing black pantyhose a few inches above the knees again, 27’18”. At 36’21”, AF sits on a mini-couch and falls on the floor, her dress lifting up her black hosed thighs, where they stay for a few seconds. JL’s black pantyhosed legs are then seen as a couple of cops are ushering her out of the hospital. Then, we see AF enter a room and cross her legs, providing a brief right thigh view underneath.

Season 2, Episode 12

At 13’11”+, AF sitting on floor, feet out towards us, black pantyhose a few inches above knees, soon arises, bounds over furniture, showing off more leg…by 17’38”, she jumps in a man’s arms, some more leg, then a view of a model’s yellow pantyhose, micro-mini. At 39’18”+, JL leaving courtroom, slit opens, suntan pantyhosed thigh revealed, some more in office, along with at least a couple of others who are wearing mid-thighs, one with black, the other maroon, hosiery.

Season 2, Episode 17

At 4’24”, blue mid-thigh, navy pantyhose, left side of the screen.

Season 2, Episode 18

At 34’59”, a woman batter in black and white shorts, red pantyhose, “sneakers” with heels built in…when she’s done batting, at 35’14”, a shapely woman in shorts and red tights picks up a bat and gives the audience a great sexy walk (best sighting of this series). She hands her cellphone to a teammate, she in red thigh-highs.

Season 3, Episode 1

At 6’19”, black pantyhose, mid-thigh, on the right.

Season 3, Episode 8

At 3’38”black upper thigh hem, black pantyhose. At 32’18” (seated), 32’37”+ (standing), nice purple micro, purple tights.

Season 3, Episode 11

At 23’11”, bright blue mid-thigh, black tights, partial.

Season 3, Episode 12

At 21’13”, black micro, black pantyhose slips into a room to grab dresses and other items, then we see man haul her off into the hallway to avoid the boss being discovered. At 37’25”+, maroon micro with perhaps black tights, but scene is dark.

Season 3, Episode 17

At 16’55”, black mid-thigh, gray patterned pantyhose, partials. At 27’42”, blue mid-thigh, purple tights.

Season 3, Episode 18

At 10’38”, Becki Newton in white mid-thigh, black patterned pantyhose, initially crossing her legs, then jumping off the counter, then chasing behind Betty. At 17’06”, 18’57"Ana Ortiz in purple mid-thigh with matching fishnet pantyhose, but boots to just above the knees.

Season 3, Episode 20

At 24’41”, BN in black micro, yellow tights, , partial, but boots that go past the knees, at 24’47” a yello micro-mini, black pantyhose, down the hallway, multiple views. At 40’48”, a brief glimpse of a mid-thigh, black hosiery, from the left.

Season 3, Episode 21
