Season 1

Both Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams wear a lot of quality pantyhose in this series. The first 2 seasons feature initially dowdy earth tone 1950s fashions (but still better than today’s bare) and episodes having no subtitles starting in season 3 we start seeing more color and the advent and use of pantyhose, and by season X the hemlines make their way up, with a sighting in virtually very episode.

At 14’55”, PM gets hoisted up by an aggressive dance companion, her suntan thigh-highs being exposed; at 18’26” again, but due to her being slumped over in her chair; 20’35” due to her being dipped by another dance companion.

From 11’27”-13’59", CW is back in her black one-piece, black tights (see S2E21 for other sighting). At 16'05”, PM and CW whip open their pink dresses, revealing their pink pantyhosed thighs; multiple shots, most notably on 17’07” when they get the lower part of their dresses out of the way!!!

Season 3, Episode 1

At 19'24”, “stewardess” panics, rushes into seat, providing us with a mild upskirt of her lovely suntan pantyhose.

Season 3, Episode 2

At 9’20”, check out the woman in white hot pants: looks like she may be wearing suntan pantyhose along with her gold pumps; close-up at 10’42” and leg crossing at 21’03”+, 21’18”+, 21’44". At 12’43”, PM in "ballerina” outfit, red bodysuit/tights. At 14’16”+, a trio of women, two in yellow bodysuits/tights, soon PM in her red bodysuit/tights joins them in the ring, and a wrestling match ensues, with a debriefing between PM and CW alone post-match.

From 2'19”-5'26”, white hot pants, could be suntan pantyhose: front, back, seated/crossed views: Lenny and Squiggy are drawn to her like magnets; 2’57” first of two close-ups, Lenny asks “Do those legs make music when you rub them together?"

At 2’47”, PM brings new meaning to Alice in Wonderland’s “The Mad Hatter” by wearing pink glittery hot pants with black fishnets, with various sightings (6’56” for a close-up) through 22’18".

Season 3, Episode 13

At 7'22”, PM gets hand stuck in urn, bends down to try to remove it, skirt’s slit opens to reveal part of her suntan pantyhosed thigh; similar “benefit" when she rocks back and forth at 14’30”+ (and why we loved slit skirts). At 24’16”, CW walking around, showing off her pink pantyhosed feet.

Season 3, Episode 16

At 19’37”+, PM and CW aren’t monkeying around: they’re performing in brown one pieces, coffee pantyhose-23'01” (at 21’39”, 22’09”+ a bit of PM’s control top as part of a wonderful close-up).
