From 1972-1997, the models (aka Barker's Beauties) ALWAYS wore suntan or nude (sometimes even black) sheer to waist pantyhose with their outfits whether they wore dresses, skirts, slacks, shorts and even bathing suits/bikinis. The Barker's Beauties classic trio of Janice Pennington, Dian Parkinson, and Holly Hallstrom are the best known ones from the Barker era and no one wore this look best than those three did (Dian and Holly left TPIR by 1994, and Janice retired by 2000.) The clips are grainy but irreplaceable because (like most game shows from its era) the show has never been released to DVD except for maybe highlights of the show. Then in the 90's another hot leggy blonde, Chantel Dubay (who replaced Dian in 1993) continued the pantyhose trend until it became a fading fad in the mid-late 90's.
