Description

At 33’38”, Laura Dern, pink mini, suntan hosiery (probably stockings, given the era, and she’s seen in other dresses with hosiery throughout), approaches and shakes hands with a young William H. Macy, then sits and crosses her fine leg. At first, a long shot, but given the previous shot of was of under the classroom-type desks of dozens of women typists of the era whose skirts and dresses were knee-hugging, this was particularly noticeable, even more so when a closeup follows at 14’01" of her rubbing her two legs together. WHM is obviously under her control, captivated and tongue-tied; a short, brief look of lower thighs at 16’19”. His character ended up marrying hers shortly thereafter in the flim! At 48’00", a couple rolling in the grass, she showing off her suntan thighs. At 51’18", a stocking foot shot of LD as she enters some water, then dances about therein.
