Peggy Sue Got Married
Description
Just a few glimpses of Kathleen Turner & others in sheer pantyhose during this back to 1960 time travel movie directed by Francis Ford Coppola. At 36'02", majorettes practicing, all bare except Catherine Hicks (second in from the left) and the redhead, Lisa Jane Persky, right-most) looking to be the exceptions. At 1h07'06", a stand-out part to see is when Peggy Sue is talking about the best inventions that she knows of (in the future). She and her science-geek friend "Richard" walk to a lingerie store, she walks in and asks, "Excuse me Miss, do you have pantyhose?" The Lady sales clerk then says, "I'm sorry, what?" Peggy Sue: "pantyhose... you know..." Sales clerk: "Panty - - hose???". Peggy Sue comes out of the lingerie store and says, "They don't have it! They never even heard of it! Isn't that wonderful!. Richard: "What are you talking about?", Peggy Sue: "I'm talking about the wave of the future! I've decided on our first fortune. I'll see you later. You just keep thinking, high tech." In the next scene, we see Peggy Sue in her bedroom sewing a pair of her stockings to nylon panties or a thin cut leotard (pics 4-5-6). She has a box of "Alberts" stockings on her bed. Her friends arrive at her room so Peggy hides her new 'pantyhose' under her bed.
