At 17'37", Lauren McCall hurls a suitcase at Henry Fonda, it opening en route with stockings flying. At 23'07", amidst a discussion of hosiery, saying that he doesn't have time to look at another woman, the camera shifts to Natalie Woods' fine suntan pantyhosed legs, which are initially straight, but then she crosses them, black pumps, black skirt a few inches above her knees. Shortly after, he attempts to tell her that he's oblivious to the sexiness of a woman's legs in hosiery, at 25'20" we see NW's crossed – then uncrossed – legs again…Curtis, age 39 at the time, says that he only looks "because he has to, not because he wants to." At 32'23", Fonda's about to swear off women's legs when he spots a dandy pair of legs: black patterned pantyhose, gray pumps, which he stoops to carefully examine. At 1h07'46", scene in Fonda's "Sexy Sox" offices…he steps out between two hosed legs, then attends to some real pairs on a stage, about lengths from mini to mid-thigh, various shades (though likely stockings, given that's what he sells!). At 1h33'01", TC catches Susan making out on the couch, her green dress lifted to approaching mid-thigh, suntan pantyhose. At 1h52'09", man kisses woman and lifts her off her feet, calf boots, but suntan pantyhose to mid-thigh…remarkable that it doesn't rise further!
