Description

At 34”, a ballerina with white pantyhose, then some close-ups of the rest of the troupe (-37”). At 48”, a practice session with multiple women in shorts or leotard, primarily in off-black “pantyhose” (hadn’t been yet invented, but no bare leg is seen). At 1’00”, Cyd Charisse dances with Fred Astaire, she in what appears to be suntan “pantyhose” when she twirls around. At 1’36”, he dances with a blond, and we see her legs when her overcoat separates from her lovely body; they reunite at 1’40”, she in a see-through dress this time. At 1’44”, Charisse is in a wonderful red dress with an open slit in front to show off her suntan back-seamed “pantyhose.”
